It’s a 2-hour ride in a fully restored and comfortable train. You can take the ride one-way (it ends at Tierra del Fuego National Park) or do it roundtrip. Depending on the time of year, there are from 2 to 3 daily frequencies. One of the best ways to explore the Fuegian forest, especially when we go with small children. It is the only way to get to the Cascada de la Macarena, the train stops at a station at the base of the waterfall where after a short walk you can get excellent photos.
Tip: Many operators combine this excursion with the tour to the national park.
You can’t miss: Take your time to tour the workshops where steam engines are repaired and maintained, some are nearly 100 years old
